My name is Joseph Rayes. I am currently enrolled at Mohawk College in the Journalism program. I hope to do exceedingly well this year, because once it hits September 2011, I want to be walking down the hallowed halls of McMaster University. I used to be a Mac Science student before I landed myself in Mohawk. Unfortunately that was not my career path. My greatest dream is to be successful in life, and not be another number in this world of billions. I realized in order to be successful in life, you have to follow your passion, and my passion was definitely not titrating solutions of hydroxide.
I want to share my success with my family and friends, especially my mother who is my greatest hero in life. I was a refugee of war in Iraq. At the age of six months my parents and I fled the country with nothing but the clothes on our backs. My parents have done so much for me and I do not want it to go to waste. I will follow my passion and I will be successful.
